Music Team Intern

2026 Summer Music Team Internship   

As a Music Team Intern at Hasbro, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting the creative music engine behind some of the world’s most iconic brands. Working across multiple projects, you’ll help keep our music operations running smoothly while gaining real exposure to how music is developed, managed, and delivered in a global entertainment company. 

From organising music libraries and audio assets to coordinating with composers, record labels, and agencies, you’ll be at the centre of the action; working closely with teams across the business to support the delivery of music initiatives.  

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, curious about the music industry, and excited to learn how music supports storytelling across toys, games, digital content, and beyond in a fast-growing business.

Interns are fully embedded on their teams and trusted to own meaningful business projects aligned to team priorities. Throughout the summer, you’ll contribute to work that matters. 

  

What You Will do as a Music Team Intern: 

Provide day-to-day support to the music team across multiple brands and projects 

Assist with organising, tagging, and maintaining music libraries, audio assets, and metadata 

Support teams across the business by responding to music-related requests 

Partner with internal creative teams to support the development and delivery of music assets across brands 

Coordinate with external partners, including composers, record labels, and agencies, to support communication, scheduling, and asset delivery 

Assist with tracking music budgets and processing invoices 

Maintain accurate documentation and keep internal trackers and databases up to date 

Research music trends, genres, and emerging artists to support Hasbro’s brands and creative direction

Ability to work well as part of a team and build positive working relationships 

Basic digital skills and comfort using everyday tools (email, documents, spreadsheets) 

Genuine interest in music, audio, or the creative industries 

Positive attitude with a proactive, can-do approach 

Nice to Have: 

Any experience working with music or audio assets 

Familiarity with music libraries, metadata, or file management 

Understanding of how creative projects are delivered 

Interest in music licensing, rights, or the business side of music 

Experience collaborating with creative teams or external partners 

Curiosity about music trends, genres, and emerging artists 

Program Details 

Interview Timeline: February – April 

Program Dates: 

Start: Early June (target June 8) 

End: Late August (target August 21) 

Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week) 

Compensation: 

Undergraduate Interns: £12.00 – £19.00/hour 

Final rates communicated during offer process 

Location: Internship locations vary by role and team. Most opportunities are hybrid or in-office and based in one of Hasbro’s core hubs or satellite offices, including:
