We’re looking for a Sales Development Associate, working closely with our sales team by generating qualified leads, scheduling appointments, and helping drive new business growth.
Role Overview
The Sales Development Associate is responsible for being the first point of contact for prospective clients. This role focuses primarily on outbound outreach, identifying sales opportunities, and supporting the Avery sales team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building communication skills, and starting a career in property & casualty insurance sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups with potential clients
- Attend in person networking & tabling events
- Assist with lead scrubbing and outbound process efforts
- Qualify prospects based on insurance needs (personal or commercial)
- Schedule appointments for licensed agents and producers
- Maintain accurate notes and activity tracking in the CRM
- Support marketing and outreach campaigns
- Meet or exceed weekly/monthly activity and appointment goals
- Provide excellent first-touch customer experience
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or call-based roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable making outbound calls and handling objections
- Organized, motivated, and goal-oriented
- Interest in insurance and professional growth
- Property & Casualty insurance license is required prior to start date.
Compensation
- $50K base, plus benefits and competitive bonus structure.
- $80-90k OTE
