Marketing and Communications Intern

Marketing Intern (B2B Marketing & Growth)

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Marketing Intern to support our business-to-business marketing initiatives with the potential to move to a full-time position.

Position Overview

This internship is ideal for a student interested in B2B marketing, content development, CRM management, and growth strategy. The Marketing Intern will work directly with leadership to help build brand presence, support sales efforts, and improve client communications.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership of projects and measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

📱 LinkedIn Marketing & Brand Development

Develop and publish 2–3 LinkedIn posts per week

Create content including:

Case study highlights

Operational excellence stories

Before/after project features

Industry insights and seasonal service tips

Increase LinkedIn engagement and follower growth

Track post performance metrics (impressions, engagement, click-through)

Deliverable:
✔ Monthly LinkedIn content calendar
✔ Performance report with engagement analytics

📰 Monthly Client & Prospect Newsletter

Draft and design a professional monthly email newsletter

Develop 1 detailed case study per month

Coordinate content with operations team for project highlights

Manage email distribution lists

Track open rates, click rates, and subscriber growth

Deliverable:
✔ 1 published newsletter per month
✔ 1 completed case study per month
✔ Monthly performance summary

🗂 Salesforce List Management & CRM Support

Clean and update prospect and client data in Salesforce

Segment lists by:

Industry

Geography

Service type

Decision-maker role

Assist with prospect targeting campaigns

Ensure accurate contact records and tagging

Deliverable:
✔ Updated and segmented CRM database
✔ Monthly CRM hygiene audit summary

📊 Sales Support & Marketing Analytics

Assist in building prospect lists for targeted outreach

Research target accounts and decision makers

Support creation of light marketing collateral

Track campaign performance metrics

Deliverable:
✔ Weekly prospect list updates
✔ Monthly marketing dashboard summary

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field

Strong writing and editing skills

Comfortable using LinkedIn and social media for professional content

Detail-oriented and organized

Basic understanding of CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus)

Experienced in engaging with and utilizing AI solutions such as ChatGPT, Anthropic, Copilot, etc.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Self-starter with ability to manage deadlines

Internship Details

Location: Blue Bell, PA or Maple Shade, NJ / Remote hybrid

Hours: 10–20 hours per week during semester / Full-time summer option

Compensation: Paid
