Golden Word | Public Relations Intern (Paid) 

Golden Word is a Richmond-based PR and social media agency specializing in lifestyle, food & beverage, real estate and hospitality brands. 

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Public Relations Intern for Spring or Summer 2026. 

Responsibilities include: 

• Media list building and journalist research 
• Drafting pitches and press materials 
• Award submissions 
• Media monitoring and reporting 
• Social media support and analytics 
• Event planning and support, if/when applicable 
• General agency/office/admin support  

Qualifications: 

• Communications, PR, Marketing, Journalism or related major 
• Strong writing skills 
• Organized and proactive 
• Interest in lifestyle and food brands 
• Knowledge of current media landscape  

Details: 

• Richmond, VA (hybrid, in-office 2 days/week with light remote work) 
• 10–20 hours/week 
• Paid (hourly) 
• Spring or Summer 2026
