Crumbl Social Media Intern
Role Overview
We are looking for a Social Media Intern who is both a creator and a builder. In addition to running our local Brand Ambassador accounts aligned with Crumbl HQ standards, you will be responsible for developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that define how our stores present online for years to come.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content & Brand Management
- Produce 2–3 in-feed posts and 3–5 stories per week.
- Ensure all content features "faces in front of the camera" and highlights the local Lexington community.
2. Analytics & Reporting
- Performance Dashboards: Create and maintain a monthly dashboard tracking key metrics: follower growth, engagement rate (likes/comments/shares), and top-performing content buckets.
- Conversion Tracking: Develop methods to monitor how social content correlates with local store foot traffic (e.g., tracking "mention this post" promos).
- Weekly Insights: Provide a brief "Friday Report" summarizing what resonated with the Lexington community and recommending pivots for the following week.
3. Playbook Development
- Creation Workflow: Document the step-by-step process for filming, editing, and gaining approval for weekly cookie content.
- Engagement Playbook: Build a response guide based on corporate "Difficult Comment" protocols (Stay Calm, Acknowledge, Offer Solutions, Public to Private).
- Asset Library: Organize and maintain a digital folder of approved marketing assets and local b-roll.
- Local Contact List: Maintain a database of Lexington-based influencers, student organizations, and local partners for future "cookie drops".
4. Community & Compliance
- Identify optimal engagement times (typically after 5 PM) and track post-performance to refine the schedule.
- Ensure all giveaways and collaborations align with brand values and legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Current Student: Deeply familiar with the Lexington/Richmond landscape.
- Process-Oriented: Ability to explain how you do what you do in writing.
- Technical Skill: Mastery of Reels/TikTok editing and Instagram Business Suite.
- Professionalism: Ability to represent the "Official Brand Ambassador" title with integrity.
Perks
- Professional Impact: You won't just be "posting"; you'll be building a departmental framework for a multi-unit business.
- Flexible Hours: Designed to fit a student's course load.
- The Cookies: Access to the weekly rotating menu.
