Agency Sales Assistant - Intern Position

 

Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour + commission

 

Job description:

Are you looking for a flexible, hands-on internship where you can build real-world sales and business experience? Join our team as an Agency Sales Assistant and help us connect with our community, grow our business, and support our customers all while earning internship credit and a competitive wage.

 

As an Agency Sales Assistant, you’ll be the driving force behind our agency’s outreach and growth. You’ll work side-by-side with Account Managers, setting appointments, generating leads, supporting projects, and attending networking events. You’ll have the freedom to set your own schedule (15–40 hours per week), making this the perfect opportunity to balance work, school, and life.

 

Here’s how you’ll make an impact at our Agency:

  • Set sales appointments and follow up with potential customers to keep our pipeline strong.
  • Working with agency leads through creative outreach and networking—your ideas are welcome!
  • Support project and database work to keep our agency running smoothly.
  • Attend local networking events and represent our agency with confidence and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and learn the ins and outs of the insurance industry.

 

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and eager to learn. If you’re a strong communicator, confident, and adaptable, you’ll thrive in this role. No prior experience required, however, we are looking for the top 1% who see “going the extra mile” as just the starting point along with a willingness to jump in and grow with us.

 

What you bring:

  • Currently enrolled in university (sophomore, junior, senior, or 2nd year community/technical college)
  • High school diploma
  • 18 years or older
  • Active form of transportation
  • US work authorization
  • Dependability, strong communication, confidence, diligence, organization, time management, and adaptability

 

Bonus points for majors in:
Business Administration & Management, Marketing, Communication & Media Studies, or Finance & Financial Management
