2026 South Carolina Department of Transportation Summer Internships

***This posting will be used to inform students about multiple summer internship positions with the South Carolina Department of Transportation across the state. ***

The summer interns will perform daily activities in one of the following areas: Public Engagement, Information Technology, Finance and Administration, Minority and Small Business Affairs, Planning, Road Data Services, Environmental Services, OSHA, Legal, Human Resources, and Engineering (Traffic, Construction, Road Maintenance, Preconstruction, Alternative Delivery, Right of Way, Bridge Maintenance and Engineering Support).

Pay Rate is between $17.00 - $23.00/per hour depending on qualifications.
