Associate Scientist / Scientist / Research Scientist (1 Year Term)

IVIEW Therapeutics Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company dedicated to developing innovative ophthalmic therapeutics. 

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Scientist or Scientist or Research Scientist (title commensurate with degree and experience) to join our research team with a focus on formulation development and analytical testing. This is a 1-year contract position, with the potential to convert to a permanent role based on performance and business needs. The successful candidate will contribute to the development, characterization, and analysis of ophthalmic formulations. We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible, ideally within 1–2 weeks of offer acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute formulation development activities.
• Plan and conduct drug–excipient compatibility, stability, and packaging suitability studies.
• Prepare laboratory-scale and pilot-scale batches and support scale-up activities.
• Perform analytical testing, including but not limited to HPLC, UV spectroscopy, viscosity, osmolarity, and particle size measurements.
• Accurately document experimental procedures and results in laboratory notebooks in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Write and review reports and project plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or Ph.D. in chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field is required. 
• Excellent laboratory skills.
• Excellent work attitude/ethics. Good communication, problem-solving, record-keeping, and team skills.
