Legal Intern Job Description
I. Job Profile
- Job Title: Legal Intern
Department: Legal Department
Direct Supervisor: Chief Legal Officer / General Counsel
Direct Subordinates: None
II. Job Summary:
Provide administrative and legal support to team members in the Legal Department. Assist with visa and immigration matters, document management, and other assigned legal and compliance-related projects to support departmental objectives.
III. Job Functions and Duties:
- Assist with the preparation of visa and immigration applications.
- Collect, revise, and organize materials for visa and green card applications; communicate with applicants regarding application issues; coordinate between outside counsel and internal applicants.
- Provide assistance to senior legal counsel and management on visa and immigration matters, compliance, and other assigned projects.
- Assist with document management, translation, and other administrative duties.
- Other duties as assigned. Nothing in the Position Description restricts management's right to assign or re-assign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
IⅤ. Qualifications:
Language: Good written and oral communication skills in English. Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese preferred.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience and/or training in legal administrative support, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Education: Law school students — second year or nearing graduation preferred.
- Physical Condition: This is primarily an office position requiring sitting for most of the day. Safety requirements include safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed work boots when on the production floor.

Training Required:
- I-9 compliance training
- Basic visa and immigration training
V. Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This position is primarily office-based with occasional time spent in the production environment. Safety requirements include safety glasses and steel-toed work boots when applicable.
VI. Key Performance Indicators: Accuracy and timeliness of visa and immigration applications prepared. Quality and completeness of legal memoranda and documentation.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
