Location: Remote | Internship Duration: 120–365 Days**
Zoo Media is the creative division of the Dakdan Worldwide family, specializing in youth‑centered media, digital storytelling, and modern entertainment experiences. As our projects expand across content, partnerships, licensing, and brand development, our legal operations play a critical role in protecting our work, supporting creators, and ensuring compliance across industries.
We’re seeking a detail‑oriented Paralegal Intern who is excited to support legal research, contract drafting, intellectual property filings, and organizational compliance within a fast‑moving creative environment.
Key Responsibilities
📄 Document Drafting & Legal Support
- Draft agreements, vendor contracts, sponsorship documents, and related materials.
- Prepare sports licensing applications and assist with compliance documentation.
- Support the preparation of legal arguments, statements, motions, and written reports.
- Assist with identifying and preparing documents for potential government contracts.
🔍 Research & Analysis
- Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles.
- Analyze and organize findings into clear, structured summaries.
- Support legal teams with case preparation and information gathering.
🧾 Intellectual Property & Contract Review
- Assist with filing trademarks and copyrights.
- Support trademark enforcement and monitoring activities.
- Review vendor relationship contracts and identify key terms or risks.
🗂️ Organization & Case Preparation
- Maintain and organize digital files, case materials, and research documents.
- Prepare information for internal teams and external partners.
- Support additional legal and administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Availability for required virtual meetings:
- Monday — 9:00 AM MST
- Wednesday — 10:00 AM MST
- Friday — 8:00 AM MST
- SkillBridge participants also meet Thursday — 9:00 AM MST
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and digital productivity tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse teams and handle sensitive information.
- Strong planning, organization, and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
- Remote‑only position.
