Director Of Strategic Execution

About FLOHOM

FLOHOM is redefining what it means to live, stay, and connect on the water. We’re building a vertically integrated ecosystem—from the water up—that unlocks the full potential of waterfronts through floating real estate and hospitality. From luxury floating suites to turnkey marina amenities, we design, build, and operate floating spaces that transform underutilized marina slips into high-performing, revenue-generating assets while delivering unforgettable guest experiences. At the heart of our mission is access: opening the door to the on-water lifestyle for more people.

Role Overview

Join one of the most dynamic and fast-growing leadership teams in Annapolis, MD, and play a central role in helping a category-defining company turn strategy into reality.

FLOHOM is seeking a Director of Strategic Execution to drive execution, organizational clarity, and momentum across the business. This is a high-impact, generalist leadership role designed to ensure that priorities move from idea to action and that the company operates with focus, speed, and discipline. You’ll operate at the intersection of leadership priorities, systems, and cross-functional execution—turning decisions into progress and complexity into clear, repeatable workflows.

This role does not require prior people-management experience, but it does require ownership, judgment, and the ability to operate with high autonomy. You’ll work closely with the leadership team to streamline execution, implement systems and automations, support marketing and content initiatives, and help FLOHOM scale with clarity and momentum.

What You’ll Do

  • Own execution across leadership priorities, ensuring key initiatives move from decision to completion with clear ownership, timelines, and follow-through.

  • Create and maintain execution systems and workflows that bring structure to a fast-growing organization, improving speed, clarity, and consistency across teams.

  • Act as an execution partner to leadership, helping translate strategy into actionable plans, surfacing dependencies and risks, and ensuring alignment across the organization.

  • Design and deploy AI-enabled workflows and automations to eliminate repetitive work, improve internal efficiency, and make FLOHOM smarter and more scalable by default.

  • Support marketing and content execution, ensuring ideas are translated into shipped output across social and digital platforms through clear coordination and follow-through.

  • Serve as a connective hub across internal teams, partners, vendors, and contractors—driving communication, accountability, and momentum.

  • Oversee select operational and financial workflows, including invoicing, expense tracking, reporting, and documentation, in coordination with leadership and external partners.

  • Work in-office at our Annapolis HQ, collaborating closely with the leadership team while supporting execution across multiple FLOHOM locations.

What Success Looks Like in the First 6 Months

  • Leadership priorities consistently move from decision to execution with fewer stalls, clearer ownership, and stronger follow-through.

  • The organization operates with greater clarity and momentum, with fewer ad hoc requests and less reliance on reactive coordination.

  • Multiple repeatable processes are automated or AI-enabled, meaningfully reducing manual work and increasing organizational leverage.

  • Internal systems, tools, and documentation are organized, intuitive, and actively used by the team.

  • Marketing and content initiatives ship consistently and on time, with improved coordination across assets, timelines, and platforms.

  • Leadership experiences increased leverage, spending less time managing logistics and more time focused on strategy, growth, and external relationships.

Who You Are

At FLOHOM, we hire for character, judgment, and ownership—not just a stacked résumé. If this sounds like you, you’ll thrive here:

Whatever It Takes (WIT): You take ownership through ambiguity and see things through to completion. You don’t wait for perfect instructions—you move priorities forward.

Service Over Self: You lead with a “help first” mindset while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and respect when working closely with leadership, partners, and teammates.

Never Settle: You’re curious, growth-oriented, and constantly looking for better ways to work. You raise the bar for yourself and the systems around you.

Precision with Purpose: You care deeply about clarity, details, and follow-through—and you build processes that help others execute well.

Keeping It Real: You show up authentically, bring positive energy, and stay grounded in fast-moving or high-pressure situations.

You are a strong communicator, tech-forward, and comfortable using AI tools to streamline work, design workflows, and improve efficiency. You can manage multiple priorities, hold context across initiatives, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Prior leadership experience is not required. Relevant experience may include startups, internships, consulting, operations, project management, or side hustles that demonstrate ownership and execution ability.

What We Offer

  • A unique and inspiring workplace, from our Annapolis HQ to FLOHOM properties on the water, where you’ll be part of redefining how people live, work, and connect on the waterfront.

  • A clear growth path as FLOHOM scales, with the opportunity to expand scope, influence, and leadership responsibility based on performance and impact.

  • Direct exposure and learning by doing, gaining firsthand experience in building a category-defining company from the inside.

  • A culture of ownership, innovation, and authenticity, where high standards are paired with trust, autonomy, and the expectation that everyone contributes meaningfully.
