Principal K-8
The Community Academy of Philadelphia Charter School is currently accepting applications for a Principal K-8 with a start date of May 1, 2026, for the successful candidate. This is a full-time, twelve-month administrative position. Responsibilities include both instructional and operational leadership. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with the position.
The Charter School seeks a dynamic, energetic instructional leader who is mission-driven, has a record of proven results and responsibility, and has experience related to general education, teacher development, supervision, and special education and/or services to children with disabilities. Organizational, collaborative, and coaching skills are critical to success in this position. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to leading professional growth and development and will possess a variety of professional experiences, including budgeting. Successful administrative experience and background with culturally diverse students and families will strengthen candidacy. A Master’s degree in educational administration or equivalent with Principal Certification is required, Ph.D. or EDD preferred. This position reports directly to the Charter School CEO.
