Church Engagement Manager

 

Church Engagement Manager - GlobalFingerprints

GlobalFingerprints, a child sponsorship and church planting ministry of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA), is seeking a Church Engagement Manager. This role leads regional church partnerships, develops engagement strategy, and mobilizes advocates to achieve sponsorship goals—supporting vulnerable children while strengthening and planting churches.

Overview:

  1. This role requires the candidate to raise their own financial support as a missionary.
  2. Brief description of ministry: The Church Engagement manager is responsible for achieving defined sponsorship goals for GlobalFingerprints by developing and empowering a strategy for a specific region. (Annual target of 650 sponsorships) They will work with GF staff, Regional Advocates and Site Coordinators as well as overseeing other initiatives that procure sponsorships for the defined region.
  3. Purpose of the ministry position relative to your team: As we work to acquire new sponsors we have two overriding purposes. Acquiring sponsorships drives GlobalFingerprints’ ability to help vulnerable children and supports strengthening, revitalizing and planting churches in hard places.  We also work to strengthen sponsoring churches as we increase missional awareness throughout supporting congregations.

    1. Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with leaders at all levels. 
    2. Ability to manage a complex team. A team of full time, part time, influencers and volunteers. 
    3. Ability to think strategically 
    4. Strong believer with spiritual maturity
  5. Responsibilities:
    1. Leading church engagement efforts in a defined region
    2. Work closely with the Director of Church Engagement in implementing and developing strategies to recruit churches and secure sponsorship events. 
    3. Recruit, develop, deploy and supervise Regional Advocates to identify and cultivate churches. 
    4. Work with Site Coordinators to identify and cultivate churches in the defined region. 
    5. Develop annual goals and the operational plans for the defined region. 
    6. Work closely with the communications team to refine needed communication tools. 
    7. Use and refine the defined CRM tool
    8. Attend Church Engagement meetings, Summit and other team meetings and events
