Unpaid: Academic Credit Required

Greetings! Stronger Than Pretty LLC / Love Wins Productions, Distribution and International Film Festival has been offering internships for the past decade for some of the top Universities in the Nation for the past decade.

Creating awareness for subjects deserving attention.  With a focus on women's empowerment, diversity and inclusion, health and wellness and LGBTQIA+ messages.

We are excited to continue as we grow our team in Los Angeles and New York City.  We are thrilled to be able to offer a select few undergrad students an internship opportunity. Following internships we have proudly have hired students in the past as freelance Artists, Part and Full time employees.

This is an incredibly busy time for the company as we have a worldwide release of a Feature Film. The internship covers development, pre production, production, post production, advertising, marketing, writing, administration and public relations responsibilities.  Collaborations with various companies and non profit organizations, as well as event planning.  

As far as Production we have a Feature Film in development and this project will give students the opportunity to learn through all phases of production. As well as our Series titled Worlds Apart which will be in Production this Spring and Summer.

Love Wins Distribution channel that is tied into our Film Festivals. Which include, Love Wins Film Festival, Voices Rising Film Festival.

Some learning opportunity that is covered each semester:

Building a deck for projects in development.

Working in various industry programs including final draft and FilmFreeway to review and shadow with programming responsibilities.

Production work which will include hiring talent, scheduling, working with publicists, and alongside a Films cast and crew. 

Post Production responsibilities will include an array of various programs to and editing software

Training:

Weekly staff meetings, job shadowing, job placement, overview of assigned tasks, training in every aspect of Production, Distribution and Film Festivals. Production and Programming will be the main focus.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this academic internship, the student will be able to coordinate production schedules, gain knowledge and insight into all phases of Production, Distribution, Festivals, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising. More creative jobs would include reviewing submissions for a Film Festival which would be Programming. Reviewing professional screenplays and completed Film and TV projects.
