Marketing Intern for Podcast

Location: Remote
Type: Internship (Part-Time, ~10–15 hours/week)
Duration: 3–4 months
Start Date: Flexible, as soon as possible

Compensation:

  • Base stipend: $200 per month
  • Brand deals & sponsorships: Receive 10% of net revenue from any brand deals or sponsorships you help bring in
  • Perks & care packages: For brands that offer products instead of cash, you’ll receive care packages (items we would normally buy ourselves)
  • Review: Compensation and responsibilities will be reviewed after two months to assess growth and potential adjustments

She is All Over the Place, hosted by KYRIAKI “Katie” Elizabeth Chonacas, blends conversations on creativity, personal development, and entrepreneurship, often featuring diverse guests from the Hollywood entertainment world. The podcast inspires listeners by exploring unconventional paths, creative careers, and tools for living a more intentional, expansive life.

This internship offers hands-on marketing experience and the chance to make a direct impact on the podcast, its brand, and its creative voice.

Role Overview
We’re looking for a motivated Marketing Intern to support our marketing efforts. You’ll work closely with the founder and gain exposure to social media, branding, content creation, analytics, and sponsorships in a flexible, remote environment. This role is perfect for someone who loves creativity, storytelling, films, TV, Hollywood business/lifestyle, and bold content.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with social media content creation, scheduling, and posting - YT shorts, YT, IG/FB, TikTok, (X)
  • Support email marketing campaigns and newsletters
  • Conduct market and competitor research
  • Track engagement and performance metrics
  • Brainstorm and help execute marketing and creative ideas
  • Help manage sponsorship opportunities and brand partnerships
  • Perform other marketing-related tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts
  • Organized, reliable, and self-motivated
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
  • Experience with Canva, Mailchimp, or similar tools
  • Basic knowledge of SEO or analytics
  • Interest in startups, small businesses, and creative projects
  • Bonus: A bold, curious personality that aligns with our podcast brand
