The Role  

As our Growth Marketing Lead, you'll be the architect of our entire marketing engine, reporting directly to the CEO and stepping into big meetings from day one. With full autonomy (and a lean budget), you'll craft campaigns, build our brand, define messaging, and choose mediums that go beyond the obvious. We're not interested in vanilla social media blasts or Google ad spends; we want outside-the-box strategies like guerrilla tactics, partnerships, or viral evangelism that spark word-of-mouth among homeowners. This is your canvas to experiment, innovate, and launch a SaaS startup, turning constraints into creative superpowers for massive resume-building potential.

 

This is a full-time, remote position with occasional travel (e.g., Seattle events or networking). Base salary: $50,000–$60,000/year + equity.

 

Key Responsibilities 

- Own end-to-end marketing: Develop contrarian strategies, from brand identity and messaging to execution across unconventional channels.  

- Drive organic growth through creative, low-budget tactics; think customer evangelism, community hacks, or rule-bending experiments (while staying ethical).  

- Leverage technical skills in social media, SEO, AEO, and analytics to inform (but not limit) your plans: tinker with tools to optimize without relying on paid ads.  

- Build and measure campaigns that align with our mission: Transparent, unbiased real estate tools for Washington homeowners, expanding nationally and globally.  

- Collaborate with the CEO on high-stakes decisions, presenting ideas in key meetings and iterating based on real-time feedback.  

 

What We're Looking For 

- Recent college graduate (or equivalent) with a degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field; bonus if from a Washington state university like UW or Seattle U.  

- Proficiency in social media platforms, SEO/AEO best practices, and basic analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush) but with a mindset to transcend them.  

- A tinkerer's spirit: Contrarian, creative, and rule-bending, excited by ambiguity and slow-burn startups. You're an idealist who thrives on freedom over fat budgets. 

- Financially flexible for a lean early stage (e.g., low expenses or support network); determined to turn this into a global success story.  

- Strong communicator with a rebellious edge: side projects, internships, or portfolios showing innovative thinking are a huge plus.
