Sixth Grade Bible/Science Teacher

Dayton Christian Middle School has an opening for a Bible/Science 6th Grade Teacher for the 2026/27 school year.  This individual will foster a safe and curious learning environment for all learners.  The teacher will, on a weekly basis, develop lesson plans and organize learning materials and resources as an essential part of the teaching environment that is designed to achieve essential state-mandated standards for each student and adhere to all Dayton Christian standards and guidelines.  The teacher will also need to consistently communicate with parents and guardians regarding their child’s holistic progress throughout the school year. The candidate must possess the strong ability to integrate our Christian faith into daily teaching.  

Qualifications include being a born-again believer and having a bachelor’s degree, preferably in early childhood education.  Applicant must possess a teaching license prior to the beginning of the school year. This position is available from 11:15 am – 3:30 pm (half-day position).
