Legendary Fruit Co. is a vertically integrated tree fruit (apples, pears, and cherries) grower, packer and distributor based in Yakima Valley, Chelan and Manson, Washington. Through a series of acquisitions, we have assembled one of the largest tree fruit platforms in the country with proprietary varieties, regional diversification, and a large quantity of fruit.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Business AI Analyst partners with business and operations teams to identify, implement, and optimize AI-driven solutions that improve efficiency, decision-making, and productivity. This role focuses on applying AI tools and analytics to real business processes—translating operational challenges into scalable, AI-enabled workflows and insights.

The Business AI Analyst acts as a bridge between business users, data teams, and technology partners to ensure AI solutions deliver measurable business value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

AI Use Case Identification & Analysis

  • Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvement
  • Translate operational challenges into clear AI or automation use cases
  • Evaluate feasibility, impact, and ROI of proposed AI initiatives
  • Support prioritization of AI opportunities across teams

 

AI Enablement & Implementation

  • Partner with business stakeholders to implement AI tools, copilots, and analytics solutions
  • Configure and test AI-enabled workflows and decision-support tools
  • Collaborate with data, IT, and engineering teams on deployment
  • Support user adoption through training, documentation, and support
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging AI technologies and trends

Performance Measurement & Insights

  • Define metrics to track productivity, cost savings, and quality improvements
  • Analyze outcomes of AI initiatives and surface actionable insights
  • Monitor performance, adoption, and risks of AI-enabled processes
  • Create dashboards, reports, and summaries for stakeholders

Governance & Responsible AI

  • Ensure AI usage aligns with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Document AI use cases, assumptions, and limitations
  • Assist in evaluating third-party AI tools and vendors
  • Promote ethical, transparent, and responsible AI practices

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Operations, Information Systems, or related field
  • 3–5 years experience in business analysis, operations, analytics, or digital transformation
  • Experience working with data, automation, or AI-enabled tools
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools, analytics platforms, or automation solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical audiences

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience mapping and improving business processes
  • Exposure to SQL, BI tools, or low-code/no-code platforms
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Experience working in agriculture or manufacturing
