Paid Marketing Intern

Designafi Showroom — Charleston, SC
$20/hour | Part-time

When:

May-Aug 2026 (12-16 Weeks)

Hours:

30-40 hours per week

Our showroom is open 9-5 with some events outside of opening hours

Company:

Designafi is a to-the-trade interior design showroom representing some of the most respected names in the industry, including Thibaut, Fabricut, and Poltrona Frau. We handle fabrication and installation of window treatments, and we serve as a resource for designers who are looking for inspiration or expertise. We house an extensive library of fabric and wallpaper samples, and we host regular events to announce new product launches and build the Charleston design community.

We’re looking for a paid Marketing Intern who is creative, proactive, and plugged into what’s happening now. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility, real visibility, and real opportunity to make an impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Social Media & Content
    • Generate, schedule, and manage content across social platforms
    • Capture showroom moments, events, and product highlights
    • Track engagement and show measurable growth and performance
  • Designer Events
    • Help plan, promote, and execute in-showroom designer events
    • Assist with event logistics
    • Handle content creation, and post-event follow-up
  • Email Marketing
    • Manage and grow our email list
    • Create and send event invitations and showroom communications
    • Monitor open rates, RSVPs, and engagement
  • Networking & Partnerships
    • Identify local networking opportunities in Charleston and the surrounding design community
    • Research and build relationships with designers, architects, and industry partners
    • Grow our list of industry contacts and collaborators

Who We’re Looking For

  • Proficient with Google Workspace
  • self-starter 
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple projects
  • Tuned into design, lifestyle, and social media trends
  • Comfortable showing progress through metrics and results
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Instagram and other social platforms (bonus if you’ve managed an account before)
