Sales Consultant
Midwest Fire Safety is seeking motivated sales professionals to represent our home fire safety products directly to homeowners. This is an independent, commission-based sales role focused on in-home education and product demonstrations.
Consultants meet face-to-face with families to discuss fire risks inside the home and offer practical safety solutions, including monitored and non-monitored smoke & heat alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, and fire extinguishers.
This opportunity is best suited for individuals comfortable working independently, managing their own schedules, and earning income based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Educate homeowners on residential fire safety risks
- Recommend appropriate fire safety products
- Travel locally within assigned areas
- Manage leads, appointments, and follow-ups independently
Compensation
- Commission-based pay with uncapped earning potential
- Typical annual earnings range from $75,000–$100,000+ based on performance
Ideal Candidate
- Direct sales experience preferred (in-home, B2C, or commission sales)
- Comfortable working independently and managing time
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
Training & Support
- Product and sales training provided
- Ongoing support from leadership
- Established company with over 30 years in fire safety
