General Manager
The General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations and overall performance of Power Up Fort Wayne. This is a hands-on leadership role with full accountability for team development, operational structure, guest experience, and financial performance. Reporting directly to ownership and the building Director, the General Manager will be accountable for building a strong team, maintaining high operational standards, and driving growth in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the facility, including staffing, scheduling, and guest experience
- Lead, train, and manage team members and department leads
- Own hiring, onboarding, performance management, and terminations in coordination with HR
- Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility at all times
- Manage budgets, labor costs, and operational expenses
- Drive revenue through programming, events, memberships, and customer engagement
- Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures
- Handle customer issues and resolve escalations professionally
- Track performance metrics and report regularly to ownership
- Report to Director of Operations and Ownership
