Job Title: Marble Charter School Summer Program Assistant

Job Summary: 

The Marble Charter School is seeking individuals to join our team for the summer of 2026 as a summer program assistant. You will lead activities, supervise campers, and foster a positive environment where kids can learn, grow, and spend their summer in a memorable way.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Summer Program Coordinator to ensure smooth, well-organized daily operations of the summer program
  • Supervise and ensure the safety of campers at all times
  • Lead and participate in camp activities, including sports, arts & crafts, swimming, hiking, team-building activities, and outdoor education
  • Manage conflicts and resolve camper issues with patience and care
  • Follow all camp policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents
  • Assist in setup and cleanup of activities and camp areas
  • Occasionally drive a 14 passenger mini-bus to transport campers to and from destinations in a safe and reliable manner

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license. 
  • Previous experience working in a childcare setting is preferred. 
  • CPR and First Aid certification (able to obtain before summer program)
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and a passion for working with children
  • 14 passenger mini-bus driver’s certification (training provided)


Compensation:

  • $25.00/hour 
  • Full-time, Monday - Thursday, June 15 - August 6, 2026
  • PERA Contribution

Location:  

Marble Charter School in Marble, Colorado. Programming is centered in Marble, with regular weekly excursions to the Roaring Fork Valley.
