KPEP is a community based program providing both residential and non-residential services to male and female offenders. The responsibilities of the Resident Coordinator include but are not limited to:

  • Enforce rules of the program
  • Monitor behavior of the residents
  • Conduct head counts
  • Conduct searches of property and surrounding areas
  • Breathalyzer (PBT) testing
  • Urine screening
  • Complete pat down and strip searches
  • Computer data entry
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Minimum education and experience: High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years college education in criminal justice or other human services field preferred; experience working with felony offenders preferred; former military. This is a great position for someone interested in gaining experience working with offenders in preparation for a law enforcement career or for someone looking for a long term career in corrections and rehabilitation.
