About APQ Health
APQ Health is a healthcare technology startup company working at the intersection of clinical operations, medical imaging, and data-driven healthcare workflows. We develop and deploy AI-powered quantitative software used in clinical environments to support the analysis of 3D medical imaging data.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Clinical Operations Associate to support clinical, operational, and technical coordination activities across the company. This role is open to recent graduates or current students and may be structured as either a full-time position or an internship, depending on candidate availability and experience.
You will work directly with the company founders and leadership, as well as with hospital, clinical, and technical teams, gaining hands-on exposure to how an early-stage healthcare technology company operates in real clinical settings.
The role provides broad exposure to:
Cloud-based and data-driven healthcare systems
Modern diagnostic and imaging workflows, including 3D imaging
Clinical workflows across multiple domains, including cardiology
Hospital EIS coordination and early customer-facing activities
Quality systems, documentation, and regulated operations
As part of the role, you will receive training in how medical imaging cases are processed across different clinical areas, including cardiology, and assist with image review and annotation workflows used to support clinical and technical processes. All activities are performed under established protocols and supervision and are non-diagnostic in nature.
Location & Work Arrangement
This role is hybrid. While much of the work can be done remotely, candidates must be based in the Los Angeles area and available for regular in-person meetings (approximately weekly) with team members, partners, or hospital contacts.

Provide direct operational and coordination support to company founders
Support communication and coordination with hospitals, clinical teams, and partners
Assist with hospital EIS coordination, onboarding, and documentation
Support customer-facing and coordination activities, including preparation of materials, meeting support, and follow-ups (non-quota)

Maintain and review clinical, operational, and regulatory documentation
Support medical imaging workflows, including basic image processing, review, and annotation
Assist with cardiology and other clinical imaging case workflows, under supervision and defined protocols

Perform light system and data administration tasks, including data checking and validation
Collaborate with clinical, engineering, operations, and leadership teams on cross-functional initiatives
Support basic marketing and outreach activities, including social media updates, coordination of content, and preparation of materials (training provided).

Strong computer skills and comfort working with multiple software systems
