Emerging Leaders Odyssey Program 

Comstock Inc. – Nevada & Wisconsin 2026 

 

Program Overview 

The Odyssey Program is a 5-week paid summer leadership internship open to undergraduates from all fields of study. The program is degree-agnostic—the principles and practices taught are applicable to every pathway, whether personal, academic, or professional. 

Participants strengthen skills in innovative thinking, problem-solving, management, and impact, while learning how businesses and industries operate from the inside. Students gain direct exposure to Comstock’s work in biofuels (Bioleum, Wisconsin), solar panel recycling, and sustainable mining (Nevada), blending classroom-style learning with real-world, project-based experience. 

 

Program Outcomes 

Leadership Development – Build systemic leadership, management, and decision-making skills relevant across all industries. 

Applied Industry Learning – Hands-on exposure to biofuels, mining, and renewable energy recycling. 

Capstone Achievement – Complete a measurable project outcome to demonstrate applied leadership and problem-solving. 

Career Pathways – Paid internship with opportunities to extend into continued internships or positions within Comstock. 

Resume & Portfolio Building – Graduate with a strengthened resume, professional network, and tools for success in any career or discipline. 

 

Logistics & Timeline 

Pre-Approval (March): Recruitment, application review, and selection 

Pre-Arrival (April–May): Onboarding, welcome packet, syllabus, HR paperwork, reading assignments 

Arrival & Orientation (June): Orientation and team-building activities in Nevada 

Program Delivery (June–July): 5-week, full-time internship with leadership modules, cross-company immersion, and field experiences 

Capstone & Conclusion (July): Final project presentations, feedback, and networking 

Post-Program Engagement: Access to alumni network, mentorship, and extended paid internships within Comstock
