Lead Marketing Science Engagement Analyst

The Marketing Science Engagement Analyst Lead is an analytics role focused on driving data-informed decision making across marketing and media initiatives. 

This position serves as a subject matter expert in measurement, experimentation, and performance analysis, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. The role combines hands-on analytics work with team leadership, client or stakeholder engagement, and strategic consultation throughout the full campaign lifecycle. The position is in office 4 days per week and will be based in Boise, Idaho, Pleasanton CA or Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities 
- Lead end-to-end measurement and reporting across campaign lifecycles, from planning through insights - Design and apply methodologies for incrementally, attribution, and ROI analysis - Guide audience targeting strategy and post-campaign performance evaluation - Ensure data accuracy, quality assurance, and consistency across all analyses - Manage and mentor analysts, setting priorities and reviewing deliverables for quality and clarity - Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and client or account teams - Act as a measurement subject matter expert, translating complex analysis into clear, actionable insights - Develop and present data stories in compelling, decision-ready formats 


Requirements 
- Strong statistical foundation, including experimentation, regression, and causal inference - Strong SQL and Excel proficiency; experience with Python or R - Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI - Knowledge of marketing measurement, media analytics, or ecommerce/retail data - Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders -5–7 years of analytics or marketing science experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role - Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field advanced degree a plus.
