Human Resource Intern

Human Resource Intern

This position will provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.

We would like our new teammate to start by 3/2/26.

 

Requirements:

  •  Actively enrolled undergraduate student in Human Resources or a related field, ideally in the 3rd or 4th year.
  • Minimum of one-year experience of working in an office environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Human Resources functions is strongly preferred.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to work as part of a team.
  • The successful candidate should have excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Prior experience working in a non-profit environment is a plus but is not required.

Essential Functions:

 Administrative Support:

  • Assist with updating employee records, maintaining HR databases, and filing HR documents.

Recruitment Assistance:

  • Help screen resumes, schedule interviews with candidates, and conduct reference checks.

Onboarding Activities:

  • Participate in organizing orientation programs for new hires and assist with the completion of onboarding paperwork.

 Employee Engagement:

  • Support HR initiatives related to employee development, training sessions, and company events.

 Data Management:

  • Gather payroll data and assist in preparing HR-related reports to ensure accurate record-keeping.
