Behavior Technician
A Behavior Technician works directly with individuals, typically children with developmental or behavioral needs, to implement behavior intervention plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The Behavior Technician provides one-on-one support in home, school, or center-based settings, using evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to teach communication, social, daily living, and academic skills while reducing challenging behaviors.
Responsibilities include:
- collecting accurate data,
- following treatment protocols,
- collaborating with supervisors and caregivers,
- maintaining a positive, supportive, and professional environment.
Requirements include:
- high school diploma
- ability to pass a background check
- availability after 3 pm and possible weekend
