Junior Commercial Interiors Project Coordinator

Role Overview

The Junior Commercial Interiors Project Coordinator supports commercial interior construction, build-out, and activation projects from early planning through completion. String communication skills in Chinese and English is essential. 
 

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants hands-on exposure to budgeting, construction coordination, inventory, installation, and events, while learning how projects are delivered end to end.

This is a practical, execution-focused position with time split between coordination work and on-site support.

Key Responsibilities
• Support projects from initial planning and budgeting through construction, installation, and close-out
• Assist with project budgets, cost tracking, invoices, and basic estimates
• Help coordinate interior construction and build-out activities
• Review and organize drawings, schedules, and technical documentation
• Track furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), and project inventory
• Participate in hands-on installation and setup of furniture, fixtures, and interior elements
• Communicate with designers, engineers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Support site coordination, inspections, punch lists, and progress updates
• Assist with event setup, breakdown, and on-site coordination
• Maintain organized project files, inventory logs, and reports

Qualifications
• 1+ year of experience in commercial interiors, construction, architecture, engineering, events, or a related field
• Educational background or practical experience in construction engineering, architecture, interior design, or technical design
• Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings
• Interest in learning budgeting and full project lifecycle management
• Comfortable with hands-on, physical work and time on site
• Strong communication and organizational skills
