We are looking for a dynamic, thoughtful, and reliable Health Insurance Agent with great leadership and people skills. ClaimLinx focuses on providing an environment that focuses on professional growth, promoting from within and a competitive salary and benefit package.
The ClaimLinx Health Insurance Consultant/Agent writes all the insurance applications for new and existing customers, both individual and group including ancillary products such as accident, life, indemnity and dental and vision. Success in this position requires demonstrating an attitude and commitment to take personal responsibility for results, particularly as it relates to proactive engagement with the client and the timely submission of all existing and new customer applications and renewals. Additionally, the agent realizes the value of elevating the ClaimLinx brand in the market by responding to customer requests and inquiries in an expedient manner, demonstrating superior customer response and service. Candidates set job as top priority and devotes extra hours if necessary to timely customer response.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate an ability to build the ClaimLinx business by developing, maintaining, and strengthening relationships with all customers, internal and externally by:
- understanding and responding appropriately to all customer requests and inquiries in a timely manner
- developing and maintaining relationships with all customers and potential customers, including internal ClaimLinx associates
- maintaining existing relationships and develop new relationships through strategic networking
- Commit to a thorough understanding of the health insurance industry with an ability to offer the best ClaimLinx product to all existing and potential customers
- proactively work with Service, Clients and Consultant during renewal period and recommend best overall option for the new benefit period. This includes understanding the customer’s objective and using claims history and provider networks for making a recommendation
- responding with a sense of urgency when responding to all customers
- devote time to address and resolve all customer concerns in a timely manner
- Identify, evaluate and provide the best solution for existing clients and new clients
- Exhibit organizational and data manipulation skills including a systematic follow-up plan
- commit to using time and data management tools that enable meeting objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner

Educational Requirement: prefer college degree or equivalent work experience and at least three years’ experience in business environment. Also must have a valid Ohio health and life insurance license.
Technology Requirement: Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Microsoft Dynamics), Mozilla Firefox, Chrome, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Formfire. Knowledge of data manipulaton as it relates to importing and exporting documents and computer skills and ability to type 30 wpm at minimum.

Pay: $41,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
