Employee Experience & Talent Intern

Job Title: Employee Experience & Talent (EE&T) Intern
Location: Rock Hill, SC
Reports To: Employee Experience & Talent Director

 

Job Overview:
The HR Intern is responsible for supporting the Employee Experience & Talent department in all administrative and operational tasks. This role ensures smooth Employee Experience & Talent processes and facilitates communication between employees and the EE&T department. The individual will assist with recruitment, employee record-keeping, benefits administration, and other daily EE&T functions.

 

Key Responsibilities:


1. Employee Records, Compliance & Data Management
• Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality

• Assist and support in the initiative to move to paperless employee files by year-end
• Input employee data into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
• Assist with filing paperwork, including employee offers, performance reviews, and other EE&T documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws by maintaining accurate records
• Assist in preparing EE&T reports and maintaining compliance with labor laws and regulations
• Help organize and prepare materials for audits or other compliance-related processes

2. General Administrative Support
• Provide administrative support to EE&T management in day-to-day tasks.
• Handle various ad hoc EE&T projects assigned by team.

 

Education and Experience Qualifications:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

 

Skills and Competencies:
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Basic understanding of labor laws and EE&T best practices

* Must be in school for a bachelor's degree in human resource management

* Must be 21 years old.
