Baking life sweeter since 1955, Bethel Bakery is an iconic, family-owned and operated retail bakery.  We take pride in creating exceptional products and customer service experiences that bring a special joy to life. We’re currently looking for a friendly and dependable Shift Lead who enjoys helping others, leading by example, and creating a welcoming experience for every guest who walks through our doors.

What You'll Do:

 

As a Shift Lead, you’ll play an important role in keeping each day running smoothly while supporting both customers and teammates:

  • Welcome every customer with a smile and exceptional service
  • Lead and support Sales Associates during your shift
  • Keep bakery displays clean, organized, and fully stocked
  • Accurately handle cash and credit transactions using our POS system
  • Complete opening/closing tasks, including brewing coffee, tagging items, and securing the store

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 1 year of retail or customer service experience (leadership experience is a plus!)
  • Strong communication, basic math, and multitasking skills
  • The ability to lift 30 pounds and stay active throughout the shift
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail
  • A team-first mindset and pride in doing great work

Schedule:

  • Full-Time; 40 hours per week
  • Monday–Saturday schedule with one weekday off
  • Rotating 8-hour opening and closing shifts
  • No late nights; we close at 6:00 p.m.
  • Closed Sundays and major holidays
  • Must be available to work during our busy holiday seasons
