M&A Summer Analyst

Atlantic has an established track record advising clients across a multitude of sectors and transaction structures, including acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, growth equity investments, and other matters. Atlantic’s advice and products cover all aspects of insurance in the context of M&A, including representations & warranties, tax liability, litigation buyout, environmental, and other contingent risk insurance policies, along with comprehensive post-closing claims services.

Atlantic’s 2026 Summer Analyst Internship Program will run for ~10 weeks from June 1st to July 31st, 2026. The program is designed to be an immersive experience, with Summer Analysts embedded with our teams of subject matter experts to gain first-hand experience in the multidisciplinary practice of brokering sophisticated transactional insurance products. Summer Analysts will have the opportunity to collaborate with members of the entire Atlantic organization to contribute to the completion of high-value projects that support the ongoing success of Atlantic as a whole.

The 2026 Atlantic Summer Program will include positions in New York, Boston, Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Toronto. Please note that all Summer Analysts are expected to attend the office in person, four days per week, for the duration of the program.

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will have a strong desire to work in a dynamic M&A/transactional service environment and to work with sophisticated clients, including leading private equity sponsors and strategic acquirers. Responsibilities will vary based on client and deal team needs, but will generally include document drafting and review, research, organization, and ad hoc special projects.

Preferred Qualifications

▪ Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

▪ Experience in the M&A industry is a plus (e.g., private equity sponsor, hedge fund, investment bank, law firm, consultancy)
