Procurement Intern

The Procurement Intern will work in the Supply Chain department and will support strategic sourcing and category management initiatives across the packaging category. This will will support expanding supply chain visibility in North America and Mexico.

 

This Internship has a target start date in May 2026 and a target end date in August 2026

 

Work Location & Schedule:

This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days/week onsite in our Exton, PA location (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday). The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, generally from 8:00am - 4:00pm.

 

How you will make an impact during this Internship:

  • Support benchmarking, cost analytics, and perform market intelligence research to validate vendor competitiveness.
  • Identify and evaluate secondary and tertiary suppliers for packaging, paper grades, finished goods for North America region.
  • Create supplier scorecards and capability database for future sourcing events, including mapping of supplier capabilities

  • Build practical skills in analyzing procurement and supply chain trends to develop actionable insights

What you will need to qualify for ACR's Internship Program:

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree at an accredited college or university
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Availability to meet both the work location and work schedule requirements

What you will need to be successful in this Internship:

  • Currently pursuing a Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Operations, Business Analytics, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Currently a rising Junior or Senior in Spring 2026
  • Prior Internship or Professional experience supporting work in Procurement, Purchasing, and/or Supply Chain preferred
  • Experience performing market research and providing summary of insights
  • Analytical skills, including working with large data sets, data cleaning, and excel functions like Vlookup
  • Proficiency within Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
