The Allapattah Collaborative, CDC is seeking a dedicated, community-oriented professional to join our team as a Community Navigator / Liaison. We are a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to preserving the Allapattah community through wealth building, ownership strategies, and equitable development. Position Overview

As a Community Navigator/Liaison, you will serve as the vital bridge between our organization and the local community. You will provide the "boots on the ground" support—outreach, technical assistance, and coaching—to ensure that local entrepreneurs and residents can access the capital and resources they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Outreach & Engagement: Conduct targeted outreach in business corridors and support community initiatives like "Main Street" and special events.

Technical Assistance: Provide one-on-one coaching to small business owners on technology platforms, online banking, and business compliance.

Financial Support: Assist clients with loan and grant applications by gathering documentation and coordinating with funding institutions.

Program Coordination: Manage logistics for masterclasses and special projects while maintaining accurate client data and reporting.

Content Creation: Develop engaging visual, text, and video content strategies across various platforms.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

Experience: At least 5 years of experience as an entrepreneur or in a role delivering services to small businesses and the community.

Communication: Demonstrated ability to connect with people from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.

Language: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers, software, and social media.

Mission-Driven: A deep commitment to economic and social justice.

Work Environment & Logistics

Schedule: Full-time, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m..

Location: Hybrid role; requires three days per week in our Miami office.

Travel: Regular local travel within the Miami area is required.
