Jewelry Live Hostess

This role is for someone who is highly competitive, energetic, fast-thinking, emotionally intelligent, results-driven, and thrives in live selling environments

Location: Regal Jewelry Inc : 1 East 33rd Street – 7th floor NY , NY 10016

Compensation: $20-$24/hr  + Commission

Type: Full-Time 

 

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Whatnot Sales Specialist to lead live jewelry selling sessions and drive significant revenue growth on the Whatnot platform. This role is for a natural closer who thrives on camera, understands jewelry storytelling, and can build strong buyer loyalty and repeat purchasing behavior.

This is not a passive host role. This is a performance-driven sales position responsible for owning revenue results, conversion, and audience growth.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Live Sales Execution

• Host multiple weekly live selling shows on Whatnot featuring fine, demi-fine, and fashion jewelry.

• Present product with confidence, charisma, urgency, and storytelling.

• Drive real-time conversions, bidding competition, and fast checkout velocity.

• Create high-energy selling moments that increase average order value (AOV).

 

Revenue Ownership

• Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.

• Optimize conversion rate, sell-through, AOV, and repeat customer rate.

• Build momentum-based selling strategies (drops, flash offers, bundles, timed exclusives).

 

Audience Growth & Retention

• Build a loyal buyer community through consistent presence, engagement, and personal connection.

• Drive follower growth, engagement, and repeat purchase cycles.

• Develop VIP client lists and private selling moments.

 

Merchandising & Selling Strategy

• Partner with leadership on show flow, product sequencing, pricing strategy, bundling tactics, and drop timing.

• Provide feedback on best-selling SKUs, price resistance points, and customer demand.

 

Brand Representation

• Serve as on-camera brand ambassador.

• Communicate brand story, craftsmanship, value proposition, and emotional connection behind each piece.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & PROFILE      

Entrepreneurial mindset 

Proven Whatnot selling success or equivalent live selling platform experience.

 Strong closing ability and sales psychology.

On-camera confidence, charisma, and energy.

Comfort with real-time selling pressure.

Natural relationship builder with competitive mindset.

 

Strong Plus

Jewelry, accessories, beauty, luxury, or fashion selling background.

Existing Whatnot follower base.
