Position Summary

Law Enforcement Officers are responsible for protecting life and property, enforcing laws and ordinances, preventing crime, and maintaining public trust through professional and ethical conduct.

Key Responsibilities

Enforce local and state laws 

Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect criminal activity

Respond to calls for service, emergencies, and public safety incidents

Conduct investigations and prepare detailed reports

Engage positively with community members

Testify in court when required

Uphold department policies and professional standards
