AnthroMed Education is partnering with a supportive middle school team to hire a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for a maternity leave coverage role beginning the first week of March and continuing through the end of the school year. This is a well-structured assignment with strong collaboration, built-in planning time, and a clearly defined caseload.
Position Overview
Schedule: Full-Time
Location: Spring Lake Park, MN
Setting: In-person, one school building
Start Date: First week of March
Assignment Length: Through the end of the school year, with the potential to continue into the next school year, plus summer pay opportunities.
Grade Levels: 7th and 8th grade
Service Model: 3:1 model (one full week built in for evaluations, paperwork, and planning)
Compensation:$45-60 (Based on years of experience)
Caseload & Setting Details
Caseloads up to 60 students maximum
One-building assignment with a consistent schedule
Collaboration with another SLP who supports 5th and 6th grade students
Service settings include Setting 1, 2, and 3
Support for students in ASD and Developmental Cognitive Disability (DCD) classrooms
Emotional/behavioral classroom present; speech services may be minimal or not required
Small articulation caseload with a focus on dismissals where appropriate
Your Key Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations
Provide direct therapy services to middle school students
Develop, implement, and maintain IEPs
Collaborate closely with special education staff and related service providers
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
What We’re Looking For
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Minnesota SLP License (or eligibility)
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply! We will support you!
Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and IEP development
Organized, collaborative, and comfortable working in a middle school setting
