Marketing Intern

Job Description: Marketing Intern (Lead Generation & Social Media)

Company: Reimagine Office Furnishings 1212 N. 39th St. #100 Tampa, FL 33605.  This job is on-site and requires the candidate to collaborate daily with ROF team members. 

Job Type: Internship Reports to: VP of Sales.

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Intern to play a crucial role in our growth. This position will focus on identifying and qualifying new business leads, enhancing our social media presence, and analyzing our web traffic. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy self-starter who is eager to learn the fundamentals of B2B marketing and sales development. You will be instrumental in fueling our sales pipeline and contributing directly to the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & CRM Management:
    • Utilize ZoomInfo’s WebSights tool to identify anonymous companies visiting our website.
    • Specifically target multi-city clients with 1000+ employees.
    • Research and qualify visiting companies to determine if they are a good fit for our re-manufactured furniture solutions.
    • Identify key decision-makers within these target organizations.
    • Monitor, track, and process all incoming leads from our company website’s contact forms, quote requests, and chat features.
    • Promptly and accurately enter new lead information into our NetSuite CRM.
  • Social Media & Content Coordination:
    • Act as the primary liaison between our company and our external marketing agency for all social media matters.
    • Coordinate the gathering of content, including project photos, team updates, and testimonials, for the agency to use in posts.
    • Assist in planning and reviewing a content calendar to ensure our social media channels are active and engaging.
    • Help monitor social media channels for customer inquiries and engagement opportunities, passing them to the appropriate team member.
  • Team Collaboration & Reporting:
    • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.
    • Assist in creating weekly reports on lead generation metrics.
    • Provide feedback and insights to the marketing team to help optimize website performance, marketing campaigns, and social media.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in B2B marketing, sales, and digital media.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive and curious mindset with a strong desire to learn and track sales metrics.
  • Create reports and tracking tasks that increase results.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Social media platforms for business (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook).

 

Bonus Points (Preferred but Not Required)

  • Familiarity with NetSuite and/or other CRM systems is a major plus.
  • Previous experience with lead generation or sales intelligence tools (especially ZoomInfo) is highly desirable.
  • An interest in sustainability, green business practices, or the furniture industry.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work onsite at the company’s Tampa, FL location during scheduled hours.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, phone, and other standard office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members in person, by phone, and via video or messaging platforms.
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching within the office to collaborate with team members or gather materials.
  • Ability to lift and carry light office materials (up to 15 lbs) as needed.
