Are you a detail-oriented, collaborative, and curious student interested in operations, partnerships, and program coordination within California’s life science industry? Biocom is seeking a Group Purchasing Intern to support the growth and implementation of our team’s programs while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Designed to support growth and engagement across Biocom’s Group Purchasing programs, this multifunctional internship offers exposure to how strategic partnerships function after contracts are signed and deliver real value to life science companies. You’ll learn through collaboration with teams across operations, sales enablement, and events while supporting program coordination, member communications, and educational initiatives.
What You’ll Be doing
Program Onboarding & Offboarding Support – Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks for Group Purchasing programs, ensuring workflows, documentation, and timelines are followed accurately.
Market & Portfolio Research – Support analysis of Group Purchasing programs and outside offerings by organizing current-state data, refining category frameworks, and identifying gaps or opportunities for improvement.
Timeline & Milestone Tracking – Track onboarding timelines and key milestones to support smooth program execution and identify potential gaps or delays.
Educational Webinar Support – Progressively take ownership of virtual educational webinars, including logistics, and post-event follow-up.
Partner & Board Support – Support preparation for partner business reviews and board-level meetings, including materials, tracking action items, and coordinating inputs.
Project Coordination – Provide project support across active initiatives as needed, maintaining and updating project trackers within Jira and Microsoft Teams
What we are looking for:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business admin, Operations/supply chain/ procurement, Management, Program management or a related field.
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• A detail-oriented, highly organized multitasker who thrives in a dynamic environment.
• A friendly, professional communicator who enjoys working with people from all backgrounds.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with care and confidentiality.
• Tech-savvy! Proficiency in MS Office Suite is a plus

Hours: Part-Time 20-24 hours/week (Monday through Thursday, can be flexible)
Duration: March through September (or longer depending on need, interest, and availability)
Pay: $20/hour
