 Would you like the chance to take your research career to the next level? Then, join the Undergraduate Research Internship Program (UGRIP) – a fantastic opportunity to connect with some of the brightest minds in AI. UGRIP Summer 2026 will be from Sunday, May 31 until Friday, June 26 2026. 

 For  four weeks at our Abu Dhabi campus in the UAE, you’ll work with other high-calibre students from the UAE and around the world on research projects, build your professional network and receive mentorship and guidance on further study choices from one of our top-class graduate students or faculty. Your flights, insurance, accommodation, and one-time stipend are all covered as part of the internship, as is a series of cultural and social activities, and trips to downtown Abu Dhabi and Dubai. 

UGRIP offers a chance to advance your research career, connect with some of the brightest minds in AI, and experience life in the UAE.

What you can expect:

  • Fully funded, four-week residency at our Abu Dhabi campus

The program has quickly become one of the most competitive and sought-after immersive AI undergraduate research experiences. In 2025, nearly 2000 students applied, with only 4% accepted. More than 130 interns have participated so far, representing leading global institutions such as the Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Maryland, College Park, Indian Institutes of Technology, and Monterrey Institute of Technology.
