You may receive specialized training in qualitative methods and patient navigation and work directly with families to help them access critical resources.
Key responsibilities include:
- Screen and enroll patients and parents on studies
- Engaging with patients and families to administer surveys and conduct interviews
- Ensuring meticulous data collection and management
- Assisting with study coordination and intervention delivery
- Maintaining study compliance with federal, state, and IRB regulations
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented and organized, thrives in a role that requires meticulous attention to detail, and is a self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced research environment. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as this role requires direct engagement with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Candidates who are bilingual (English and Spanish) and/or who have prior clinical research or patient navigation experience are highly preferred.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in pediatric oncology health equity research while making a meaningful impact on patients and families.
