Parralux Video Production Internship - Production Assistance & Content Creation - April through August 2026

Overview:

Parralux is a full service video production company seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is eager to get production and post production experience. From on-set experience with camera operation and lighting, to actually editing together the content captured! This internship provides a hands-on learning experience, allowing you to work closely with our seasoned professionals in a dynamic and collaborative setting. If you are a proactive and detail-oriented individual ready to expand your skills in the realm of video, this is a great opportunity to hone in your interests and skills while contributing to the success of video marketing campaigns, corporate communications, social media content, and TV ads. 

Qualifications:

This internship is open to college sophomores through seniors with varying levels of experience. While the internship is held on-site at Parralux (Exton, PA), you’ll have the opportunity to work on shoots outside of the office (on-location).  Days/Hours are negotiated based on your availability and required credits. Ideal candidates are creative, proactive, enthusiastic self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 

Ideal Candidates Know How To:

• Set up and operate cameras, ensuring optimal framing, focus, and exposure
• Monitor camera battery levels, memory cards, and other essential components to ensure uninterrupted filming sessions
• Properly handle and organize camera and lighting equipment (lenses, tripods, c-stands, and other camera/lighting accessories)
• Can navigate Premiere Pro and can do basic video editing 
• Organize footage, audio, and other media elements properly in Premiere, on hard drives, and within Google Drive
• Bring interesting and fun social media content/campaign ideas to the table

What You’ll Do & Learn:

• Learn about day-to-day operations at a video production company
• Create different kinds of content for various types of clients/industries 
• Participate in pre-production meetings to understand shot lists, storyboards, and creative concepts
• Coordinate with the production team to prep a shoot’s equipment needs 
• Collaborate on set with DPs/directors to assist with lighting setups and capture high quality content
• Produce original video/photo content for our social media channels
