Private Label Product Branding and Marketing Internship
The Lowes Foods Private Brand Intern will work alongside the Private Brand Manager and Director of Brand Development to support the process of bringing Lowes Foods private brand products from concept to shelf. This internship provides hands-on experience in brand development, packaging, naming, photography, copywriting, e-commerce merchandising, and product launch support.
This position will play a key role in elevating the creative quality of private brand products, strengthening digital brand representation, and supporting private brand projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creatively curious, and excited to learn how consumer brands are built in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities:
Brand, Packaging & Creative Support
- Support packaging proofing by reviewing layouts, copy, claims, and visual consistency
- Assist with naming exploratories for new products, flavors, and line extensions
- Help ensure packaging and brand assets align to Lowes Foods brand standards and tone
- Support coordination of packaging-related details tied to product launches
Copywriting & Brand Storytelling
- Support writing and refining product descriptions, flavor callouts, and romance copy
- Assist with proofreading and polishing copy for clarity, consistency, and brand voice
- Help elevate product storytelling across e-commerce and customer-facing platforms
Photography & Visual Content Support
- Assist with food photography planning, including product lists and shot needs
- Support post-shoot review of images for accuracy, brand alignment, and usability
- Help identify visual content gaps and opportunities to strengthen storytelling online
E-commerce Shelf & Digital Merchandising
- Support improvements to the private brand digital shelf, ensuring listings are complete, accurate, and on brand
- Assist with maintaining product content including titles, descriptions, images, and attributes
- Help ensure consistent brand representation across e-commerce channels
Product Development & Project Support
- Support product development projects through organization, documentation, and follow-up tracking
- Assist with project timelines, item lists, meeting notes, and cross-functional communication
- Help ensure launches remain organized and teams have accurate, updated information
