Office Associate Responsibilities

Accurately enter sales transactions and order details into the Storis system

Verify order information and resolve discrepancies

Complete documentation efficiently, including cash balances, deliveries, sales and service orders, and account balances in compliance with company guidelines

Provide exceptional customer service by handling a high volume of inbound calls and counter inquiries

Process payments and assist with customer questions or concerns

Respond to customer inquiries across multiple channels (phone, web, chat, mail, fax, etc.)

Meet or exceed performance standards for service quality, accuracy, and productivity

Complete and process credit applications, financing paperwork, and payments

Verify all paperwork related to order processing for accuracy

Communicate professionally with internal and external partners

Maintain organized files and processes to support productivity

Provide clerical support to store staff as needed

Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills & Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills

Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete paperwork accurately and efficiently

Basic reading, comprehension, and numerical reasoning skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Outstanding customer service skills

Familiarity with Storis, RingCentral phone systems, Package AI routing software, and company intranet systems is preferred

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required

Previous clerical or office experience preferred

Physical Demands

Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and reach regularly

Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods

Ability to communicate clearly with customers and coworkers

Ability to operate office equipment and observe details to complete assigned responsibilities
