Location: Off-site at local childcare centers (D-BAT Columbus – East/North area)
Schedule: Weekdays between 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (flexible within this window)
Hours: Currently ~4+ hours per week with opportunity to grow
Pay: $17+/hour (based on experience)
Type: Part-Time / Contract

About the Role

D-BAT Columbus is looking for a fun, energetic, and reliable SuperTots Coach to help run our youth sports programs inside local childcare centers during the daytime. This role is perfect for college students studying education, early childhood, kinesiology, or sports management, or anyone who loves working with young kids and wants flexible daytime hours.

Our SuperTots programs focus on movement, coordination, confidence, and FUN through age-appropriate sports and athletic activities for children ages 3–6. No baseball or softball experience is required — we provide training and all lesson plans.

This is currently a small-hours position (about 4+ hours per week), but we are actively growing the program and expect opportunities for additional hours as we add more partner locations.

What You’ll Do

Lead fun, structured movement and sports activities for young children (ages 2–6)

Travel to local childcare centers to run scheduled classes

Create a positive, high-energy environment that keeps kids engaged and smiling

Communicate professionally with childcare staff and D-BAT management

Follow provided lesson plans and safety guidelines

What We’re Looking For Available weekdays between 10 AM and 4 PM

Enjoys working with young children and being active

Reliable transportation to travel to local childcare centers

Positive attitude, patience, and strong communication skills

Experience with kids (babysitting, camps, teaching, coaching, daycare, etc.) is a plus
