C&Y Global Holdings, LLC is a $1B international metal recycling company with operations across the U.S. and Asia. We operate ten U.S. locations and maintain offices in Thailand, China, and Japan, connecting domestic operations with global markets.

Position: Shipping & Receiving Specialist

Hours: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $45K–$70K annual salary (DOE)
Location: Chicago, Illinois; Houston, Texas; Cleveland, Ohio

Responsibilities and Duties

• Enter weights, descriptions, and photos of inbound material into the company database.
• Inspect deliveries for damage and accuracy against invoices.
• Generate and send settlements to suppliers.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding inbound shipments.
• Communicate with accounting regarding supplier payments.
• Communicate with drivers, workers, and internal teams (customer service, logistics).
• Prepare orders for shipment and create shipping documents (labels, loading sheets, and loading instructions).
• Prepare paperwork (packing lists, invoices), track shipments, and manage compliance records.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, update logs, and manage warehouse organization.
• Organize and accurately file paperwork in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience preferred.
• Proficient in data entry with minimal errors; highly detail-oriented.
• Ability to work under high time pressure while maintaining quality with minimal supervision.
• Well-organized, proactive, and with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be willing to undergo a drug test and background check
