Current Position Open – Marketing/Business Proposal Manager: We're passionate about
recruiting talented and creative individuals who can excel independently yet thrive in a
collaborative team environment. As our organization grows, we recognize the need for
additional team members. Join us, and we'll support you in doing your best work. This role will
manage and lead marketing efforts in Arizona while supporting marketing and proposals across
our offices in Dallas, Spokane, and Tucson. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in
Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), and Vantagepoint,
with at least five years of experience in the transportation engineering field.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Focus – 20%
● Communicate effectively with employees, clients, and guests in a friendly, courteous,
and service-oriented manner.
● Prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines and actively monitor bid
management resources to identify new opportunities.
● Manage the document building and editing process, maintain templates, and update
them to align with business initiatives.
● Lead marketing meetings and presentations, taking ownership of resulting action items.
● Drive ongoing development of business intelligence and maintain industry experience.
Business Development – 20%
● Foster positive relationships and business opportunities with key clients, partners, and
potential clients.
● Maintain CRM databases for clients, pursuits, and marketing campaigns.
● Direct staff in developing social media materials and implement business plans to
achieve quarterly and annual goals.
● Represent CivTech's skills and expertise to clients, partners, and community leaders at
external events.
● Lead preparation and scheduling activities for marketing opportunities.
Proposal Pursuit Expertise / Delivery Tasks – 20%
Maintain confidentiality of information and collaborate with leadership and teams in
developing and maintaining the business unit pipeline.
● Lead complex proposals, write, review, edit, and monitor original content, and coordinate
with various teams to ensure effective communication of strategic vision.
● Track and analyze performance and success of proposal strategies and pursuits,
occasionally traveling for submittal delivery.
Proposal Leads / Opportunities Tasks – 40%
● Collaborate with project managers on proposal strategies and content to achieve targets.
● Organize and facilitate pursuit strategy meetings, lead and support interview coaching,
and manage procurement website administration.
● Facilitate teaming requests and partnering opportunities.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Depending on Experience $65,000-$90,000
