GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Assistant Principal, in conjunction with the Principal, is responsible for total
oversight and daily operation of the Early Childhood Preschool Program.

QUALIFICATIONS:
● A minimum of a master's degree.
● Valid Ohio Administrator license or ability to obtain.
● Minimum of three (3) years of exemplary teaching experience in a special education
setting preferred.
● Good written and verbal communications skills.
● Demonstrated leadership ability.
● Able to use a variety of communication methods to build relationships.
● Excellent organizational skills.
● Able to use technology to effectively manage data and information.
● Valid driver’s license and daily access to personal vehicle.
● History of excellent job attendance.
● Must pass required criminal background checks and be free from communicable
● diseases.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary and work year as established by the Governing Board. The employee shall remain free
of any alcohol or non - prescribed controlled substance use in the workplace throughout his/her
employment in the District.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy
on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
