Biopharma Data Analyst
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Location: Remote (U.S.-based)
Team: Data & Analytics
Position Type: Full-Time
We do not sponsor or take over sponsorship of any immigration visa or permanent residency. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer and not need sponsorship by BioCentury for employment at any time.
BioCentury is seeking a Data Analyst to work on BioCentury’s BCIQ database as part of a Data & Analytics group, with a focus on product development. This role will help drive value to the database, supporting the ongoing evolution of BCIQ as a product by incorporating advanced technologies, user-informed improvements and strategic positioning to deliver a top-quality, reliable source of biopharma data to support the creation of new therapies and technologies by biotech companies and investors.
BioCentury provides independent deep-dive analysis, high-quality data and high-impact networking events for biopharmaceutical executives and investors in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. We employ a fully integrated multimedia platform—including electronic publications, online data solutions, interactive websites, webcasts, and in-person as well as digital conferences. No matter where our customers are in the drug development process—from idea to patient—we help answer critical questions, decipher strategic trends, and assess competitive, financial, and policy risks.
BCIQ is a database incorporating curated information on biotech companies, financings, deals, therapeutic pipelines, targets and modalities to support competitive landscaping, deal and financing strategy, and, importantly, horizon scanning. It is also an actively developed product, shaped by customer needs, internal strategy and continuous iteration.
Role Summary:
As a Data Analyst, you’ll join a high-impact team responsible for identifying, validating and enriching biopharma data across a wide range of domains—clinical trials, product pipelines, molecular targets, deals, company records and more—with a strong focus on how the data are structured, surfaced and used within the product.
You’ll help ensure BioCentury’s BCIQ platform remains a trusted source of structured, decision-ready intelligence, while also contributing to product-driven enhancements that improve usability, clarity and analytical value for users.
You will have the opportunity to bring ideas, grow skills and gain expertise in one or more areas of drug development and product development as you help advance the platform.
We welcome candidates ready to contribute to improving processes, for example, incorporating AI in the right places, including proposing enhancements based on user needs, product goals or observed data gaps. Ideal candidates are eager to learn not only the data itself, but how different data types power user workflows and product features.
When you join, you will be supported by structured onboarding and cross-functional collaboration, working closely with product managers and other data analysts, in an environment with a strong focus on data quality, workflow precision, and professional growth.
BioCentury is always keen to grow our talent. The more you learn, the more we aim to expand your responsibilities and contributions.
